On July 8th, 2018, Theseus got really hurt It was rescued from a basement in Pittsburgh and took a lot of abuse over the next decade or so as spoke after spoke broke (until Ely learned how to true a wheel and put in good ones that were kept maintained). It was upgraded with new brakes, a dynamo lighting system (that got stolen once) went through a handful of rear racks and top tube pool noodles and looked festive for every occasion. The frame also never quite fit Ely right (hence the top tube pool noodle to protect delicates) which bothered all who saw it, true to its name, we wanted to help him get a new frame to move everything over to, so we scoured craigslist until finding a fitting replacement, some $80 unknown 26" mountain bike frame that looked like it had been repainted with latex housepaint at some point in its life: A bit of math showed that with the long reach calipers that were already on there for the switch from 27" wheels to 700C would mean that the fe...
